Well done if you’re starting a fitness program you’ve made an important decision to improve your health. The first thing you need to know is what you want out of it, then note down what your likes and dislikes are. This will get you to really focus on your goals and how you’re going to accomplish them. For instance, if you want to get slimmer legs jogging is a good starting point and you can do this inside or
out. You should start by timing yourself and gradually increase the time as your fitness increases, this is far better than measuring your distance as many become overwhelmed with the words ‘one mile’ as it implies a long distance!
Think outside the box! There are hundreds of great activities you can do to simply enjoy life and create a healthy lifestyle! If you’re having fun and keeping fit at the same time then isn’t that the best thing ever! Make sure you involve your family and friends and plan your weekends to incorporate fun days! Think about where you live and what activities you have close to you. It could be skiing, paint balling, horse riding or swimming! Plan to change your activities regularly to maximize your fun and promote a healthier lifestyle.
